Theo Papaioannou, Director of Innogen & Professor of Politics, Innovation and Development at The Open University, has been appointed member of the Innovation Caucus.
The Innovation Caucus is an ambitious and innovative initiative, jointly funded by Innovate UK and the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), to promote greater knowledge exchange between social science researchers, other academic disciplines and businesses.
By providing research insights to inform innovation policy and practice, the Innovation Caucus ensures that social science insights support sustainable, innovation-led economic growth.
Innovation Caucus members are leading academics from across the social science community, who are engaged in different aspects of innovation research.
Papaioannou’s appointment until the end of August 2021 will contribute to increase the impact and reach of the Innovation Caucus and help to shape the innovation landscape in the UK.
